Third time is a charm! No way, someone nominated us again!? Hell yeah! Apparently, our performance out in the field must be stellar! But you are just writing a blog. Where did you get the theme of war from and why don’t you apply it to other posts? Are we seriously doing this again? I think we are and I’m ready for ya. Oh really!?
Who will win the showdown? Find out after this important nomination from our fellow blogger, Ty-Chama who has kindly tasked me with several questions that we will charge into with recklessly as a hero should! As always, let’s break down the rules.
Protocol for this questions goes as follows.
- Display the Award Logo.
- Thank the blogger who nominated you and post a link to their blog.
- Answer the questions of the one who nominated you.
- Nominate 7-10 bloggers.
- Ask them seven questions.
Understood! Mad love to Ty-Chama for nominating us. She runs an amazing blog over there you and guys should really check it out. I currently agree wholeheartedly with Yuuko being her favorite goofball character! Onward to the questions!
What is your favourite movie?
Questions like these are so hard! I usually have to narrow down the parameters to get a concrete answer. So with that in mind, my favorite movie of this year so far has to be Mission Impossible – Fallout. Tom Cruise has a winning formula with that series that never seems to stale or get old. Good acting, unbelievable action scenes (He does all of his own stunts!) and a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. It someone manages to reel you into the plot and makes you question whether or not Ethan and the crew will be able to pull off the impossible. Every time! The chase sequence in London is by far my favorite scene. To think that most of the stunts are practical and to see Cruise riding a motorcycle unscripted into oncoming traffic. Or to know that he broke his leg during one of the stunts only to see perform the running sequence where he was jumping from building to building. It adds to the tension and really makes the movie come alive. That movie just came out on Blu-ray. I think I have something to get. Not to mention this trailer was AWESOME! And it features my favorite actor Henry Cavill! This best action movie ever made. Yeah, I said it. Beautiful cinematography, amazing action that is real and not CGI (The helicopter scene is jaw-droppingly good! Oh. that bathroom scene doesn’t have shakey-cam! You can see what is happening and it is glorious), a story that you have pay attention to, gorgeous locales, and the score is to die for! You done ranting? Yeah… see this movie.
What is the strangest/silliest thing that scares or creeps you out.
When I was a kid, I had a fear of going into the basement. At that time, I was almost scared of everything. I was scared of scary movies, the dark, loud noises, and anything else that my imagination could paint horrors on to. Having a vivid imagination has a horrible drawback. At my grandparents house, there was a peep hole at the side door. The hole would always reflect the light on the other side and because it was at the staircase that lead into the basement, it put an image on the door to the kitchen. That image scared the living hell out of me. I don’t know what I thought it was, but I used to have to cut the light that lead into the staircase on so that I could go downstairs. Mind you, that was my favorite place to be because the Sega and cable television was in the basement.
I used to bolt upstairs early in the afternoon so that I would have to see it. My grandparents weren’t allowed to close that door if I was a downstairs and I would go into fits if they did and I was downstairs. I even used the pissed on myself because I was too scared to go up the stairs when it was closed while I was home alone. I look back on those days and just laugh now but every now and then, I look at the image on the wall and shiver. It makes absolutely no sense.
What would be your dream job?
Honestly, I think having some sort of YouTube show or podcast where I can voice my opinions about anime, movies, games, and book would be surreal. I didn’t realize that I enjoyed things like that until my late twenties. I remember looking at my YouTube history and being dumbfounded. I wanted so many reviews about games and movies it was ridiculous. Shows like Movie Talk on Collider and reviews like Adam Sessler were awesome! When I got tired of those or wanted a change, I moved into sports and I don’t even watch sports like that. From there, I ventures into politics and now I’m just watching everything under the sun. I love reading or hearing other people opinions. Having conversations with people about the things you love gives me a rush that nothing else does. The good thing, that I am trying to work towards that dream now. This blog is just the start. I am thinking about hosting anime watch parties on Rabb.it next year. I’m trying to get my YouTube degree in editing so I can potential start a podcast about books. And I want to stream games on Twitch. Hopefully, my dream becomes a reality.
Do you have any strange traits or skills? If so, Describe one.
Hmm…. I wouldn’t necessarily call it strange but others around me dislike my ability to adapt and adjust on the fly. So, people, my friends hated playing certain games with me because of innate talent to read and adjust my tactics on the fly. So if we were playing a fighting game and you had certain tells or tactics that you would use, by the next round, you would have to switch it up because I have already figured you out. I read patterns very well. And this extends out to people and the workplace. I’m not necessarily studying you, but I pay attention to your habits and actions and usually makes judgments based on that knowledge. And it is not that people are predictable. People lash out if they think you can call them that. It is just that everyone has certain niches. I love puzzle games because I get to flex those muscles. Being a manager at my job, this skills works wonders when dealing with people and customers.
What is your idea of a perfect date?
We kick off the date in the afternoon. Probably around 2 o’clock. That gives us both time to wake up and be fresh for the day. After picking her up, we jam out in the car to our favorites songs like we are in a karaoke bar to get our spirits up on our way to the Arcade. There, we play all the versus games while trying to accumulate as many tickets as possible in the few hours that we have to pick up a prize. I give my date my tickets at the last minute so hopefully, they can have memory to remind them of the date. Next is food. We flip a coin to decide who is choosing the restaurant and we head out the eat. From there, we are downtown at the pier just to hang out and talk. Here we get to talk about our dreams and desires. Knowing me, their stomach might hurt from all the jokes. Now the night could end there, but I chose Thursday for the date because if there is a hot movie coming out, it debuts tonight. You know what that means!? First dibs on the movie! Imagine if that was Into the Spider-Verse? That would be awesome! Closing, I take her back home and see her to the door. I brush hand, embracing it for a kiss and bid her good night.
Which anime character do you look most similar to?
I don’t know about looks, but if I had to pick anyone it would have to be Kilik if cut his hair. Glasses? Check. Big hands? Check. Knows how to throw those hands? Definitely. Sometime in the future, I hopefully get see a character with a bald fade. That would make my day!
Which is better: tea or coffee? Be careful, there’s only one right answer!
Uh… Iced Tea? Here me about before you do anything rash! I don’t participate in hot drinks. None of them. I don’t like him. I prefer my drinks extremely cold. Winter isn’t just cool name. I love the cold! I don’t wear coats in the winter and I live in Michigan. It gets cold here. Especially with the Lakes around us. I used to wear shorts in the winter back in high school. But that is beside the point, I love tea… just not when it is hot. Oddly enough, if I had to drink something hot, I would probably choose coffee over tea. Mocha Lattes are amazing! Especially the frozen ones from Tim Horton’s. Oh man, when they put Oreos in it! GAWD! That was a very dark time in my life. Don’t hurt me…?
Mission completed! Answering these questions normally was just as fun as crafting stories for the others I have done. Thanks for asking Ty-Chama!
Now for my nominations!
Anyone else who would like to participate. I’m trying avoid nominating people more than once so if you find this post interesting and fun, join in!
As for my questions…
- If you could Blue-Skadoo into your television or monitor, what show would you choose and why?
- Once inside your show, what would you do?
- If you could meet one fictional character for a date at a coffee shop in that fictional world, who would you choose and where would you two go?
- What are some of the questions you would ask?
- You have been placed in a fighting game and your about to do your signature move. What is the name of your move and what do you do?
- Your opponent’s life bar just depleted and you won your match. What is your winning phrase?
- Over the course of this year, were you able to accomplish something that you set for yourself last year? If so, what was it? If not, do you have something that you want to accomplish next year?
As always, thanks for stopping by and reading. You guys/gals are awesome!
Until the next post… Wait! Who won the battle!? You can just leave them on a cliffhanger like that!
